Russian Market in Phnom Penh – a great place to see local life
Russian Market or Phsar Tuol Tom Poung is the market where all tourists ought to come to at least once when visiting Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Located in the south part of the city off Monivong Boulevard and Mao Tse Tung. The reason why it is named – Russian Market is that during 1980s it was very popular amongst Russian expats since most of the foreigners in Phnom Penh were Russian.

After many years, this market is still busy, full of life since there are many tourists passing through every day. It is quite an ideal place to shop for souvenirs or even just spending time to savour every corner of those bustle stalls.

A large range of stuff you could experience there from foods and drinks, handicrafts like hand -woven silk, antique furniture, traditional carvings to jewelry even DVDs.
