ARRIVE HANOI

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, your guide will welcome you and escort you to the hotel. You will have the rest of the day to unwind and explore your surroundings at your leisure.

HANOI HOME COOKING CLASS

The tour starts with an immersive market walk accompanied by the host. Learn about the ingredients, their flavours and their secrets. Attend a hand-on cooking class and sample the different dishes prepared during the course. Vietnamese cuisine was influenced by the long association of Vietnam with Chinese rule, French colonialism and the incursions of South-East Asia. Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of oil, and reliance on herbs and vegetables.

EXPLORE HOA LU, TAM COC AND MUA CAVE BY BIKE

Hit the road about 100km to the south of Hanoi to Ninh Binh, the magical land known as “Halong Bay on land” for its hundreds of limestone cliffs emerging from the ground scattered across the rice fields.

Cycle through local villages and farms to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital (968-1009) for an introduction to the history of 10th century Vietnam, and visit the temple of King Dinh. Next, cycle to Tam Coc through more unspoiled villages and limestone karsts.

At Tam Coc, board a small boat and quietly row away to see more of Tam Coc (Three Caves), said to be like Halong Bay on land. Spectacular mountains rise vertically out of the placid water. Then, paddle through an idyllic landscape of green paddy fields. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue cycling a short distance to visit Mua Cave, one of the must – visited destination when travel in Ninh Binh. Climb over the 486 stone steps to reach the top, where you will be amazed by the panoramic view of Tam Coc area.

Transfer back to your hotel for a rest after a fantastic day.

TRANSFER TO HALONG BAY AND HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT CRUISE

Leave the bikes and drive to Halong City. The drive will take you through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta, with vivid green rice fields, water buffaloes and Vietnamese village life.

Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1994 for its thousands of natural islands, Halong Bay (Descending Dragon Bay) is like a magical world, and one of the most magnificent scenic destinations in Vietnam.

From Halong city, board your boat for an overnight cruise to experience the natural beauty of Halong Bay. Here you will see magnificent views of limestone karsts in turquoise waters, deserted beaches, spectacular caves, lively floating fishing villages, and hidden lagoons.

END OF HALONG BAY CRUISE AND FLY TO NHA TRANG

Wake up to the sun illuminating the spectacular rock formations. Continue the Halong Bay wonder, cruising across its 2,000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights. A breakfast or brunch is served before cruising back to Halong’s port. In the late morning, arrive at the pier for disembarkation and transfer back to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival at Cam Ranh International airport, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

NHA TRANG FULL DAY BOAT TRIP

Escape the crowds of Nha Trang on a full-day tour of the surrounding islands, an ideal choice for families and first-time visitors looking to relax. You’ll tick off top attractions such as Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Hon Mot Island and visit hard-to-reach spots that are renowned for their marine life and secluded beaches. Continue to the best snorkelling spot in Nha Trang – Mun Island. Time to jump into the clear water, swim while being surrounded by a lot of fishes, coral.

NHA TRANG BEACH LIFE

Enjoy the famous Nha Trang beach. Besides swimming and sunbathing, the natural bay is ideal for windsurfing, sea kayaking, wakeboarding, water-skiing, sailing, scuba diving and snorkelling. You may take a cyclo trip around Nha Trang.

FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City – or Saigon, as it is more affectionately known by the locals. The remainder of the day offers an opportunity to settle in, unpack and relax, perhaps with a Vietnamese massage.

Day 9

CU CHI TUNNELS EXCURSION BY SPEEDBOAT

Today you will be picked up at 7:00 A.M and transfer to Ho Chi Minh Pier where you board a speedboat to the legendary Cu Chi tunnels, an incredible under-ground tunnel network constructed by Viet Cong to fight the American and South Vietnamese forces during the Vietnam War. The ride takes about one hour along Saigon River that will give you a greater view of the local life. Arrive Cu Chi Tunnels, learn how the tunnels were built, the living conditions and the hardships people had faced in the tunnels. You even have the option to descend into the real tunnels where the Viet Cong hid and fought. Following your exploration of the tunnels, you are driven back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10

EXPLORE THE LUSH OF MEKONG DELTA

Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Ben Tre City. Upon arrival, begin your boat cruise to Ham Luong river and get over Mo Cay. Stop to explore the area with visiting the coconut processing workshop. Take a bike ride on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to know more about the locals’ lives and the tropical culture. Stop to visit a local work shop of brooms making, coconut fiber workshop. Then continue to visit local house for fruit tasting and take a short walk in the village before riding on the sampan along the canal. Following lunch, take your time walking to surrounding area to explore more local life and see local house rooster farm. Getting back to the pier and transfer to your homestay.

EXCURSION TO TRA VINH AND RETURN TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Board on a cruise to explore along the Mo Cay river to visit Thom coconut Floating Market. The trip gives you a chance to observe lively activities of coconut processing and trading. Every day, hundreds of boats filled with coconut anchor along the banks of the river, waiting for trader & customers. Leave for to Tra Vinh. Choose between Tuk-tuk or bicycle to have sight-seeing around the Khmer village, enjoy painted- walls along the village streets – the paintings describe the assertive characters about the Khmer culture and daily – life in South Viet Nam.

Visit Son Huong family, admire art-works such as hat and crowns while enjoy Khmer performances. Have look at the Khmer musical instruments and join the traditional dances with the family members.

Visit Ms. Thone family where bamboo baskets are knitted. Continue to visit Mr Sang family, to see how they make Com Dẹp (Roasted glutinous rice) – a kind of Khmer traditional food during the worship on the full moon (10th- lunar October). Lunch at local house in the Khmer village.

Visit Ba Om pond and Khmer Museum before transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
