History

Cambodia is a country rich of its history with the Khmer kingdom. Despite of a long, tumultuous and tragic story, the whole country tries to save it unique art and culture.

The country is slowly recovering from Red Khmers regime (1975-1979) which killed 1/3 of the population, especially older persons and “intellectual” persons. Hopefully, infrastructures’ development was a real springboard to tourism industry and permit us to discover charming countryside and villages, the quiet seaside, luxuriant forests and of course the incredible Khmer heritage all around the country.
