Topas Ecolodge lies within the boundaries of Hoang Lien National Park. The park is located in Lao Cai province and stretches south from just outside Sapa town. The protected area encompasses approximately 30 km2 of scenic mountainous landscape, including Vietnam’s highest peak, Mt Fansipan (3142m) and the Hoang Lien mountain range.

Topas Ecolodge consists of 33 individual bungalows placed around a hilltop overlooking the entire valley, which is home for the ethnic minorities of Tay, Red Dao and Xa Pho. Each of the stone bungalows comes with its own spacious balcony overlooking an expansive vista of towering mountain peaks and stunning, rice terraced valleys. Meanwhile, the split-level suites offer an extra level of comfort.
